A SUCCESSFUL SEASON FOR VALE KARATE

Another fantastic 'WKL Champions of Champions' day for Vale Karate took place on April 24th, at the Finale of the season, the day on which this season's final placings were unveiled.

Vale Karate won eleven 'Champions' trophies as well as fifteen 2nd & 3rd place trophies!

Leah Copeland won both the Ladies Kata and Kumite events, earning no fewer than ten gold medals this season and Chiara Baker won all three of her categories; U12 Advanced Kata, U12 Girls Kumite and U16 Shotokan!

Leah and Chiara epitomise the all-round ethos that is at the heart of Vale Karate.

Chiara was overall Individual Champion of Champions, the first athlete in WKL history to win this award twice as she was also 'Champion of Champion's'  two years ago.

Vale Karate were Champion Club for the fourth consecutive season, every season since we joined the WKL.
A great day to finish a great season.
